El Museu Picasso de Barcelona presenta la exposición ‘Picasso. Retratos’, organizada conjuntamente con la National Portrait Gallery de Londres La National Portrait Gallery de Londres y el Museu Picasso de Barcelona son los co-organizadores de ‘Picasso. Retratos’, la exposición en la que se explora el lugar que ocupa la caricatura en los retratos de Picasso.

The projects appears as a singular and unique object, emanating a sense of renewal that is perceived immediately upon entering the neighbourhood. Its expression is traduced with the use of two materials with complementary yet opposite qualities: – Brick—for its domestic thickness and for its solid reference to the ground and to the facades of the neighbouring Briques Rouges – Lacquered, expanded metal—for a material lightness that discretely reveals the comforts of the apartments and the usage of the balconies, without completely exposing them to views from the street.

Jean de Lessard – Designers Créatifs has designed for Westmount’s café The Standard, a space of symmetry where the minimalistic narrative blends in subtly with the sophisticated look of a period café, thus redefining the codes of such a venue where varieties of Grand Cru coffee and gourmet pastries are served.

SPORTS COMPLEX IN BUSSY SAINT-GEORGES BY MARTIN DUPLANTIER ARCHITECTES

Located on the edge of this suburban town, the building faces the horizon made of agricultural fields and infrastructures lines. For Bussy, this new and growing city at the East of Greater Paris area, this sport center represents one of the major public facilities. The rural and «fake-old» identity of the surroundings and its individual houses plays the role of contrast for the project.

Following the footsteps of Piet Mondrian and accompanying him on a trip along the cradles of his unique art is looking through the eyes of the man who kept reinventing himself and his work.The Mondrian House in Amersfoort, Netherlands, has been renovated to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the De Stijl art movement.
